The Joy of Unity

This past Saturday, we did something very special. We held our long awaited classroom dedication. While I’m sure each one who attended took something different home from the experience, for me, it rekindled a fire in me of what the Church should be.

Being a believer isn’t about my call or your call or my rights or your rights. It’s about simply coming together around the thing that unitesus all, namely the Lord Jesus Christ.

Each one who came to the dedication had a different story, a different background, and a different calling from the Lord. But the passion that each one had for the Lord, and the unity I sensed in the spirit, is something that I will not soon forget.

It is so easy just to point out the wrong in people or in the Church. It is so easy to judge others for what according to you is so obviously wrong. But what about the reverse? What about finding common ground with your fellow brothers and sisters in Christ? What about building up the Church in faith, hope, and love? What about letting go of your ego and your ideas?

I tell you when you do that you will find where you fit in, and in doing so, you will indeed stand out. For there aren’t many people out there who truly care for others more than themselves. In fact, it is the most unnatural thing in the world!

But, the Lord is raising up those who are willing to come and receive His heart for His people. The Lord doesn’t need your abilities or your skill. He doesn’t even need your strong will to push through. He just needs your heart. For when you have that, everything will flow from there.

This is why we are so excited about the upcoming launch of our live Pastor Teacher School. This heart and mindset is at the core of what God is doing in His Church today. It doesn’t matter if you are called to be a prophet or an apostle, you need this heart even more!

The Pastor Teacher School is for anyone who has been called to the work of the ministry. It will lay a foundation in your heart and challenge you in places that you don’t expect. So if you have been feeling the call of God to stand up and be counted and know you need some training, I encourage you to give us a call and speak to us about the Pastor Teacher School.

We are launching the first course, appropriately titled, "The Work of the Ministry”, on Saturday July 25th. There is still some space left in this class, and we would love to see you become the minister God’s called you to be.

In closing, there is a reason why the Word tells us to think on only those things that are true, noble, and right. It’s because there is so much in this world that isn’t!

The Church needs ministers that will move past church politics, who is right and who is wrong, and will just heal God’s people and build them up again. If you are such a person, then I invite you to come join us in the new live Pastor Teacher School.

In His Love,
